The coalition members were: Alignment, Likud, NRP, Agudat Yisrael, Shas, Morasha,
Shinui and Ometz. The number of ministers when the government was formed - 25.
The number of MKs who supported the government when it was first formed - 97.
The government resigned towards the rotation in the premiership.
The twenty second government was formed by Yitzhak Shamir, on 20 October, 1986.
The coalition members were: Alignment, Likud, NRP, Agudat Yisrael, Shas, Shinui
(left the coalition on 26.5.87) and Ometz. The number of ministers when the
government was formed - 25. The number of MKs who supported the government when
it was first formed - 96, and after Shinui left - 94.
