As part of the
festivities of the 55th birthday of the Knesset, the Knesset Web Site presents this special Tu Bishvat
section. The Tu Bishvat Virtual Tree-Planting was developed in 1998 by the Knesset in cooperation with:
The Virtual Tree Planting which was launched on Tu Bishvat 5758 (1998) generated a great response from the public. It is the hope of the Knesset Website Staff that the virtual planting will encourage the wider public to engage in "real" tree planting in the forests of the JNF. |
