Tour Station 13: The Knesset Committees

On the first floor of the Knesset building are located nine of the eleven Knesset Permanent
Committees. Every committee has a meeting room with tables arranged as a rectangle, in which
the committee secretaries sit. Attached to the room is the office of the chairman of the
Commitee.
The walls of the rooms are covered with wood panels, and in some of the committees there are pictures and/or maps hanging on the walls relating to the Committee's work. |

The State Control Committee and the Committee for the Advancement of the Status of Women are
located on other floors.
Along the corridor on the Committee floor there are photographs of the Knesset members and senior officials of all the past Knessets. |
