General Zionists

Description:

"General Zionists" was a name given to Zionist groups that were not associated with any political party. In 1931, the General Zionists turned into a party which had a distinct liberal-capitalist character. As a party, the General Zionists ran in the elections for the First to Fourth Knessets. Toward the end of the Fourth Knesset, they united with the Progressive Party to form the Israeli Liberal Party.
