During the two days following elections, the counting of the two-envelope ballots took place in the Knesset building. These 200,000-plus ballots included those of the soldiers, hospital patients and staff, prisoners and prison staff, and polling station secretaries.
Hundreds of workers opened and counted the ballots, and the chairman of the Central Elections Committee, Justice Elyakim Rubinstein joined them as well.
The final results of the elections are posted here.
