Leading in Torah
The N.R.P. actively promotes
Torah in Israel and strengthens national religious institutions: Zionist
rabbinical training institutes, Zionist Kollels, Yeshivot gevohot, Hesder
Yeshivot, Yeshiva high schools, and more. The N.R.P. encourages Zionist rabbis
to take on active roles as teachers in Yeshivot, and as spiritual leaders in
cities and in neighborhoods.
Leading in the I.D.F.
Our
finest youth, distinguished by the colorful knitted kippot on their heads, serve
in the elite commando and combat units in the I.D.F. The N.R.P. encourages its
young men and women to do their share for the nation and the country by serving
in the Army and in National Service, in the Hesder Yeshivot, in the pre-army
academies, and in all the branches of the I.D.F.
Influencing in bringing people together
Religious and secular, Sephardim and Askenazim, left and
left, old-times and new immigrants - we are all one people. The N.R.P. works
toward national unity, absorption of immigration, and bringing people together
from all sectors of the population. Without hatred and without coercion. Gently,
pleasantly, and with a smile.
Influencing in all fields of
endeavor
Wherever you look, you see them. Members of the national
religious community, with the knitted kippot on their heads. In academia, in
economic life, in the educational system, in hi-tech, medicine, the courts, the
I.D.F., even in the media. Each one of them doing their bit of kiddush Hashem in
daily endeavors.
Contributing faith
Inspired by love and faith,
the national religious public devotes itself to the People of Israel, the Torah
of Israel, and the Land of Israel. Realizing the religious Zionist vision is a
supreme value for the generation of knitted kippot and the N.R.P. will continue
to assist and support this goal.
Contributing in
settlement
Settlement in all parts of the Land of Israel is the
realization of the Divine precept of the return of the nation from exile to its
homeland. The N.R.P. supports, strengthens, and works actively on behalf of the
settlements of Judea, Samaria, Gaza, the Golan and the Jordan Valley, and the
moshavim and kibbutzim.
Giving in Education
Only the N.R.P. can be
counted on to instill Jewish and national values in the educational system, in
kindergartens and schools, so that your children receive a Jewish and Zionist
education. The N.R.P. will continue to support the national-religious school
system, the Emunah day care centers, and the Zionist-religious youth movements:
Bnei Akiva, Ezra, and Ariel.
Giving to Eretz Israel
The core belief the Land of Israel for the People of Israel according to the
Torah of Israe commits the N.R.P. to doing everything possible to
further the security and integrity of the Land of Israel. The N.R.P. aspires to
influence policy from within the government, and thus continue to safeguard
Eretz Israel.
Torat Yisrael
Your kippa identifies you as a
person who believes in the Torah and living in Israel means that you fulfill one
of the principal mitzvot of the Torah every day. The combined belief in Torah
and the State of Israel was the driving force behind the establishment of the
National Religious Party (N.R.P.); a force that has been active throughout the
Zionist process and the establishment of the State of Israel. A force which has
led to the N.R.P. historical achievements including the definition of
the Jewish character of the Israel Defense Forces. And the list goes on. The
work, however, has not been completed. There is still a long way to go in order
to achieve the national religious goals established in the past, and to protect
those that have already been attained.
Only the Torah can serve as a
foundation for Jewish life in Eretz Yisrael, because the torah is the foundation
for all Jewish life. The N.R.P. is the only party in Israel that follows the
path that joins Religion to State and Judaism to Zionism.
As a religious
person you really cannot vote for any other party, because the N.R.P. is the
only party that believes in the same principles that you do!
Am Yisrael
Where is Am Yisrael? Where are the Jewish people for whom the
State of Israel was established. Today, Jews are scattered throughout the four
corners of the earth; in North America, Russia, Morocco, South Africa... Every
year we lose more than 100,000 Jews through assimilation and even here, in
Israel, there are times when we feels as though we have lost the feeling of
being ;one nation. The achievement of National Unity - between
Jews in Israel and the Diaspora, and between Jews at opposite ends of the
Israeli political spectrum - can only be achieved through Aliyah and a return to
the original Zionist ideologies that created the State. We must re-establish
the concept of brotherhood and we must reach out and bridge the political,
social and philosophical gaps that separate the nation. We must do this now,
because National Unity is more than a political concept - it is a
mitzvah!
National Unity can only be established in a nation that
follows the basic tenets of Torah and believes in mutual respect - a nation that
combines Judaism and Zionism. Only one party, the N.R.P., can bridge the gap
between religious and secular Jews, between the political left and left,
between the different Jewish ethnic communities, and between Jews in Israel and
the Diaspora. It can accomplish this goal because it is a party that fulfills
the Zionist dream by placing the emphasis on, and striving toward, national
Unity, thus ensuring the existence of Am Yisrael in Eretz Yisrael. Eretz
Yisrael
Our religious and historical left to Eretz Yisrael, and our
obligation to settle the land are Zionist principles that were once accepted by
the whole nation. These principles are no longer unanimously accepted and
today, the political left challenges the very foundation upon which we built
this country. What happened to Zionism? Why have our beliefs been pushed aside
in the legitimate struggle of the Jewish people? When one travels the unique
path of Torah and Eretz Israel - of Judaism and Zionism - one cannot possible
lose their way. In fact, the National Religious Party is proud to present a
platform that continues firmly on the path of Torat Yisrael, Am Yisrael and
Eretz Yisrael.
There will only be one state between the Jordan
River and the Mediterranean Sea - the State of Israel. No independent
national Arab entity will exist within the limits of the Land of
Israel. ; No part of Israel will be given over to a foreign government
of authority. The State of Israel will strive for peace and make
every effort to attain it.
This is the N.R.P. political platform.
Read it, because your vote will make the difference.
ERETZ YISRAEL
The concept of the Land of Israel is more than just
a matter of security. Whoever does not believe in God, and in the Torah lacks
the basis to take a strong stand in the struggle for Eretz
Israel.
TORAT YISRAEL
The State of Israel was established so
that we, the Jewish People, could live a full Jewish life. There is no Jewish
life without Torah.
AM YISRAEL
National Unity is one of
the pillars of Judaism and the Torah. Every element of the Jewish nation is
important, and every element needs and complements the others.
Religious Zionist Rabbis Support the
