The Plenum - Resolutions
Resolutions in the plenum - whether on a bill, at the end of a general debate, on
an election to
office or on the lifting of the immunity of a Knesset Member - are adopted following a vote. A
vote can be by the raising of hands, an electronic vote, a personal vote (roll call) or a secret vote in
writing. A vote for the lifting of the immunity of a Knesset Member is a public vote, and elections
to office are held by means of a secret vote.
